Benjamin Touati is the Chief Executive Officer of ELNET-Israel, overseeing the organization’s strategic direction and its cooperation with Israeli institutions and European affiliates and partners. He brings extensive experience in public affairs and international engagement across governmental and community roles. Before joining ELNET, Touati represented the Jewish Agency for Israel in Paris, working closely with institutions, policymakers, and Jewish community leaderships. His deep familiarity with European political systems and Israeli government structures has made him a recognized figure in discussions related to Israel’s international representation. Within ELNET, he previously led government relations, developing structured partnerships with ministries and parliamentary counterparts. Touati holds an MBA from the Jerusalem College of Technology (JCT) and a BA in History. He is a regular commentator in international media, specializing in Israel-Europe relations. As CEO of ELNET-Israel, he directs the programs, delegations, fundraising, policy initiatives and coordination with the other ELNET offices spread throughout Europe, aiming at strengthening cooperation between Israel and Europe through shared values.
